28 April Gig – Kirkcaldy – Unplanned and Unplugged

We are pleased to announce that our 59th event will start at 1 p.m. and finish at 4 p.m. on Sunday 28 April 2019 in the St Clair Tavern in Kirkcaldy. The doors open at 12.30 p.m. A bar is available and food can be booked beforehand.

Our free event is open for everyone to attend

A few of our regularly participating members suggested to the Organising Team that it might be time for a social gathering. We listen with pleasure to our performers at gigs, but have little time either to talk to each other, or to network. It is difficult to discuss ideas at evening gigs or at workshops, partly due to time and transport constraints.

We agree that time to share your thoughts with each other, more informally, would be good. So, we have booked the St. Clair Tavern for Sunday 28th April 2019 for a Gathering.

Unplanned and Unplugged

A relaxing time together, starting at 1 p.m. and finishing around 4 p.m.

We encourage unplanned party pieces, readings and performances – spontaneous Open Mic – between chats and unplugged musical turns

.

Time to release your inner talent

The bar will be open for coffee and drinks. The venue can provide sandwiches at £3.00 per head.

We suggest a donation of at least £3 per head to cover the gig costs. Your donation is important because Fife Writes runs on a shoestring.

Please let us know if you would like to attend such an afternoon soiree for your pleasure and delight, so we have an idea of how many sandwiches to order. If you could do this by mid-April that would be very much appreciated.

Please note that the photos are a few of our star performers – there are many others

Location and Car Parking

Look at the map on the St Clair Tavern Facebook page and zoom in. If you are going east along Nether Street, turn left at Flesh Wynd, then right at Mid Street, where, at the very end, you will find a large free car park. Then, you just need to cross the road and walk down the hill 50 yards to the St Clair Tavern on the corner.
