Art Gallery Journey – a Creative Writing Workshop
Caren Gilbert, poet in residence for Falkland Estate and Lilian Kennedy Brzoska, bardic troubadour and one of Fife Writes co-organisers, are co-facilitating a creative writing workshop in the Kirkcaldy Art Gallery and Museum. Both Caren and Lilian are experienced workshop facilitators who connect deeply with Nature as Inspiration, enjoy sharing their work and love encouraging others to shine.
Upstairs in the Art Gallery they hope participants will find excitement and adventure in an opportunity to wander round, taking writing inspiration from the artwork and the “Moments in Time” exhibition, which features several items that belonged to Adam Smith.
It’s a journey back in time, roaming the galleries seeking and finding inspiration from people who were themselves inspired to create before we were born. Come with your minds and pens poised to capture the inspiration that finds us in the present time… on the morning of Saturday 17 March.
We would hope you might each be able to complete a short piece of creative writing by noon.
There is a car park at the Galleries and others close-by.
Hope to see you there
